after lots of thinking (well not really) and talking to my seniors (who are just next door). i decided to stick with math 1040. the unit is easy for me to get Distinction or even Higher Distinction insyaAllah because it is almost exact repitition of Additional Math. so, it is an easy way out... less work load for me in making sense out of the syllabus.

by the way, i keep on updating my blog, more than once a day it does not mean i am not studying or i've got nothing to do.. it is just because blogging does not takes alot of time this days. the service is so fast, even when uploading pictures; takes few seconds. very pleasant indeed

i decided to miss my math 1040 lecture today because i was tired and the class bores me. so i woke up at 9.30am. i went to the city to withdraw money from HSBC. then, i went back to uni around 12pm.. GUESS WHAT!!???? i missed my swimming class today at 10am!!! i seriously didn't know that it started this week... my bad~ i met up the coach just now around 4pm, he said it is allright, just for this one. fiuh~~

back to the schedule.. yeah~ i attended my tennis class and IT WAS AWESOME. my group is friendly, fun. happy happy.

urm~ i talked to Ben earlier today right before Human Movement 2250 lecture. he told me that he took 2 units of level 2 and two units of level 1.. i said hmmmmm... i might want to do that as well... (note: Ben is in the same case as mine; first year second semester) so~~ i would like to swap my math 1o40 to Human Movement 2260 which involves aerobics.. yea~~ that is more like it... oh well~ just hope that i can settle that tomorrow.. till then..

this morning, same first two lectures (math 1040 and human biology 1101).. guess what!!!??? THAT WAS ALL.. wawawawawahhh...

well~ i had tones (exaggeration) of stuff in my list..

1. go to Biological Science Library and Education Library to borrow some books
2. go to Westpac Bank to withdraw money to activate my HSBC account
3. go to city to activate my HSBC account
4. go to the immigration to get my student visa (in the city as well)

DONE ALL OF 'EM.. yeay~~

i spent an hour and a half at the immigration.. hahahah.. 30min to get a number and an hour for my number to be called; i had a short nap while waiting. teeheee..

as i arrived home, i phoned my mother... we had a looooong chat.. super super nice~ i just wanted her to know that i am doing good here... everything is fine and she has nothing to worry about..

oh yea.. i phoned my boyfriend lastnight.. sad to hear that he is sick... :( get better soon sweetheart...

urm~ hahah.. i just remembered!! when i was at the immigration, Veronica phoned me. she said "dah, where are you know?... hahah i need to wash my face" cute~~~ hahaha..

today, like any other first day of uni... everyone gets so excited... buy books that are overwhelmingly expensive... i was like that last year.. but it ain't gona happend this year~ just now, just before 8pm i rushed myself to biological sciences library. i managed to borrow three books; Anatomy and Physiology (at the shop cost > $120), and 2 different books of Teaching for Swimming.

since we are given the privilege to borrow books, journals, etc from the library, i decided to take advantage of that.. as my former pricipal from SMJA used to say "setapak kaki melangkah ke dalam perpustakaan, beribu ilmu pengetahuan yang kita dapat" (malay sentence just makes it sounds dramatic) imagine when you spend hours in the library...

luckily this year, i'll be using the same book for human movement 1101 and human biology 1101 which is the Anatomy and Physiology. furthermore i'll be still using the same CD ROM from human movement 1102 last year.

so.. alhamdulillah.. first day of uni went smoothly...

i woke up super early today, at 6am. usually noon. i had lectures (math and human biology) at 8am till 10. after an hour break, then i had my next lecture (human movement) at 11am. i managed to pay my fees between lectures... hehehe... fiuh~ math and human movement lectures gave me adrenaline rush because lots of exciting topics to be covered. human biology was ok, i just need to do lots and looooooooooooooooots of reading for it.. because biology is not my cup of tea..

i was told in human biology lecture that the lab classes starts this week... so~ i was allocated today!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. teehee.... its alright i guess...

so.. i'll be having lab later at 4pm till 6. now.. im off to bed, want to qadha my sleeping time.

yesterday, Veron couldn't manage to tick everything (i think none.. hahahaha) in her shopping list. so she asked me to accompany her again today.. well~ shopping?? will i ever say no to that?..

we went to the same places, but today Veron paid more attention to what she really want to buy instead of buying unrelevant stuffs. so, she managed to tick some from her list.. she said that is good enough.

Veron dropped by at my place again.. she really likes my place... you are always welcome Ron~

eversince i arrived here, all in my mind was ADIDAS FACTORY... so today, i went there with Veronica. it is located in Habour Town. about 5 mins from city.

initially we did window shopping in the city, we went to Myers, Target and small stores. after we realised that everything we saw was expensive, we shifted to Habour Town!! yeppie~ so i bought adidas bag. super LOVE it. when i was in the factory, i felt like a girl in a candy shop... aaaaaahhhhhh i tried my best to resist from buying all of those pretty t-shirts.. fiuh~ i managed.

i bought some other stuffs but the adidas bag was the hightlight of all.

as we were all tired; sore feet and hungry. we went back to city and grabbed some food in Jaws, Japanese restaurant... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh i love teriyaki salmon.. *drewls* i ate the sushis with spoon and fork instead of chopsticks. so, Veron laughed at me and she said i look cute... hahahah.. and she said "i just have to take a picture of you".. hahahah..

after that, Veron accompanied me back home.. i wanted her to check out my beautiful college.. hehehe.. Veron was like "ooooo.. nice...." everytime.

we started shopping around 6.30pm. we went to the city. i were with Ros, Hayley, Shar and Karena. actually we were in a group of 20 but, we missed the bus.. hehehe...

i didn't buy much stuff because i brought all of my stuff here. i bought ibuprofen (=panadol) and some underpants.

my whole body hurts so bad. that is why i wasn't enjoying it much.. well~ tomorrow i am out with Veron.. so~ it will be fun..

i slept late last night, updating my blog... GUESS WHAT??? they set the fire alarm ON!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. teehee... it was like 6-ish.. so all of us had to dash out with our pajamas... i had time to put my wrobe and beany on.. fiuh~

so yeah.. we assembled at one area, front yard. the tutors asked us to moved to an area nearby next to the traffic lights where THE PPPPPPPPPPPUUUUBLICCCC could see us... imagine the level of embarrassment... and it was cold, the sun wasn't out yet... the seniors asked us to follow what they were doing; jump, scream... run... and we played games. YUPH, we were still at the same spot... hahaha..

about an hour later, we walked ourselves to Matilda Bay. it was a 20mins walk (felt like forever to get there..)

we had our breakfast there; sausages, tomatoes, eyes, yoghurt, fruits and bread...

by the way tonight is the 'late night shopping' night.. yeppie~~~ till then... adios!

22/2/2007

today we had Dragon Boat Race at this one beach nearby our college. we competed amongts other colleges; Trinity, Currie Hall, St Thomas Moores and St George College.

it was a close race between our college and St Thomas Moores. we were pretty good because we were the only college whose participants are all girls (FYI St Cats is an all girls college).

at night, an hour after dinner we had Wing Meetings session. in St Cats, it has 3 wings; Whitfields, Arney and Prescott. i am in Prescott wing, THE COOLEST wing ever.. hahahaha. we have our own sink in every room... ok ok.. back to the topic... ok, the Wing Meeting was just geeting to know the peeps staying in the same wing.

after that, there was a battle between wings... we were allocated to our bases. each wings were given some props like rackets, balls. so one wing have to steal this props from other wings. each wing also select few members of their groups to attack other members of other groups by stepping (till it blow up) balloons that were attached on their foot (one balloon each). it was really like a battle hahahaha.. crazy, fun battle i mean~~ hahaha... the intruders were smacked with pillows to protect their props... awesome~ the college put the lights off to built up the excitement.

the war lasted about 30 minutes.. hahah our wing lost because we have the least number of people...hahaha.. it doesn't matter... i had tones of fun!!

later, here i am, updating my blog... gosh lots of things happened eversince i moved in here... even the events that happened few days ago i haven't blog in yet... hahah.. i sure will put it in as "delayed" as i always do.. hahahah..

as i mentioned earlier on, i arrived at Perth last Friday. i stayed at ka intan's house for 2 days and moved into St Catherine's College on Sunday.

after lunch we had a tour around the college. i love it here~~ they have party rooms that includes pool and tennis tables, common room (have foxtel = astro), squash and tennis courts, swimming pools, tutorial room, computer room, theatre room... lots and lots of "rooms" hahah.. too many to mention

then, we had "ice-breaking" session. it was held in the theatre room. we introduced ourselves and played lots of games. it was tones of fun!

at night, we went to Northbridge to see the Chinese New Year's perfomance. while waiting for their arrival, we dropped by at Utopia. they made ABSOLUTELY DELISH ice drinks; pearl milk tea, snow, blends... ALL OF 'EM...

after an hour of waiting, we were told that we were waiting at the wrong place!!! hahahah.. sily~~

we tried to follow the performers. unfortunately, they were on their way to their van... poor thing.. huhuhu

since it was at night, most of the shops were closed. so were just look around to get to the area.

earlier today, i did my laudry. it was a sunny day, so it was a perfect. around 10am, the freshers had a 'morning tea with staff' session. it was the time where we get to know the people who runs the St Catherine's College, that includes the chefs who seemed to feed us VERY well.

right after lunch around 1.30pm, us freshers went to Darkzone, Perth City. it is a place where we play with laser guns (usually well known using paint guns) and shoot other people. COOL!! hahaha...

in the prep room.. AWESOME!!

we were divided in groups of three; yellow, blue and red. basically each colour has their own base and hide there. when the line is clear, one colour attacks the other. red team win most of the time because its base is located at the top area. blue is in the middle area and yellow is at the bottom... it was so much fun!! definitely going to play there whenever i got the chance.

after that excitement, we went to Mc Donalds to get Sundaes. yum yum... it cooled us down after that hot, awesome war..

i finished mine, need some more!! hahaha

after dinner at 7.30, there was a mocktail party inside college, i didn't join because i was too tired. at 9.30 i hung around at the common room with some of the freshers.

the fun is still on going~~

the day finally came again, me living my love of my life, my family, bestfriend and girls.. not to forget my fellow friends...

my flight was at 12.30pm.. (masa orang sibuk2 kan sembahyang jumaat) but i was thankful that all of the important people in my life were present to send me off... thanks alot you guys and girls.

as my plan landed,i cried. because i realised that i am 5 and a half flights away from my boyfriend and parents. then, my Arifin comforted me with his text messages... alhamdulillah.. i am ok now..

Ka Imah picked me up at the airport. i stay at Ka Intan's house for two nights and will be staying at St Catherine college for the rest of the year, starting tomorrow.

last thursday night, there was a Majlis Doa Selamat at my house in conjunction of my departure the next day, friday 16th February. it was a small gathering for my family and close friends. most of my siblings came, my boyfriend as well as my girls. sadly, lili couldn't make it because her cousin was also having function.

the menu that night was, pizza (made by my mom, with my help *winks*), spaghetti, 2 cakes, tea, air kelapa and manisan. that night i premier my drama "berpijak di bumi yang nyata". it hasn't not played on RTB yet, but i have the dvd for my personal collection. i am glad my family enjoyed the drama.. i was acting under Regal Blue Production. they did an EXCELLENT job.. i mean the graphic, effects, EVERYTHING. so for my friends out there, i think this drama will be out sometime in June or July..

on 14th February, lili asked me out... i've got excited because, usually i asked her out...

lili planned to pick her baju kurong, but unfortunately it was not ready yet... so, we headed to kiulap to have dinner. we went to Le Taj restaurant... gosh!! i totally forgot that it was valentine's day.. taahaaaaaaaa... we (lili and i) were couple in love.... woitz!!! joking ok~~

since the environment was so lovey dovey.. we took lots of pictures and fooled around

it was one wonderful night. don't get us wrong.. we were not celebrating valentine's day!! i had a blast lili~~ makes me miss you so much now (!_!)

after dinner i dropped off lili at SuperSave, beribi where we meet up earlier on... soon after, i went to see my boyfriend... we just hung around, he was doing his PM (persediaan mengajar)

i arrived home around 10.30pm

last night, at 12.20am i was watching TV alone in my living room. my body went motionless when i realised that i am leaving next Friday and would not be back after one semester. it is that moment again where sadness and anxious feelings stirred together. 3 months went by so fast like the flow of waterfalls...

i have to say my holiday is quite a journey because everyone is looking at me in a different way. i have to tell myself again and again that i am 20 years old lady. when i am with my family, boyfriend and girls, i tend to act like a teenage girl. i feel secure and extremly happy to be around them because they know me very well and would not judge me... i thought that, while i am in brunei i don't have to worry about anything, won't be responsible to everything around me. well, i have to accept the fact that i am growing up and accept the responsibility that closely related to me.

kemarin keluarga sebalah bapaku mengadakan majlis mandi beranak untuk bungsu Hashim&bungsu Ratna. bungsu Ratna dengan selamatnya melahirkan anak kembar sepasang, irfan shah dan batrisha (nama dorang panjang pulang, atu nama glamer lah)

jamputannya patang pukul 2.30. macam biasa, majlis ani ada org berdikir...lapas atu, anak2 yg berkenaan, ibu dan bapa, ahli keluarga terdekat di bawa keluar menziarahi tetamu2 yg hadir.

masa durang berziarah atu lupa ku pulang kan mengambar, sal laju bah.. teehee.. skali masa orang ramai balik... keluarga ku lepak sekajab, cerita2... skali iski ku meliat abang2ku yg muanya kan sama berkumpul rah jamputan ani... jadi ku gambar durang... hehehe

As I mentioned earlier in my blog, I am currently working at James Hon Marketing and Management Services. Last Wednesday, this company organized a “study at UK” exhibition. It was held at VIP Assembly Hall, Level 4, The Rizqun International Hotel, The Mall Gadong. It started at 11am sharp and lots of people arrived at that time.. it was a very busy afternoon
