while i was studying just now, i saw something unattractive on my body. *sigh* this is what happen if you have an "easy to lose and gain weight" type of body; you have maintain your daily exercise routine in order to have the same physique. swimming everyday from now on dahriah!!! was lazy to 'make' an effort to cycle to uni to swim during this study break. well, cycled and just spent an hour at uni surely does not motivate me to go out from my cosy room. by looking at WHAT i've discovered tonight. i am SO going out of my comfort zone!!!
...once you see the problem, SOLVE IT...

first day of Eid
was trying not to be 'into' raya mode. was wanting to be not emotionally involved. had breakfast like always. then as i shifted my view through the glass wall of the dining hall, i could hear my family laughters, raya songs in the background. went to my room, studied. lunch time, i saw my Malaysian friends (not the ones from last 2 semesters) they were all dressed up. they told me their plans for that day, but i was kind of sad abit when they didn't even 'thought' of inviting me to the party. yes, i might reject the invitation, but c'mon have the courtesy to ask. anyways, i went back to my room, studied some more.
by three o'clock. my heart just shrinked. i msned Raihana, she didn't reply. i asked Kme whether they are having open house, she said no. i phoned ka Fadhilah, ka Yan, Ka Intan, no reply. i cried. first day of raya, i haven't feel 'you' yet.
alhamdulillah at 5pm, Senida, Europe muslim girl from previous Soccer tournament msged me. she invited me to her place and sleepover. i was so happy, so glad to receive her msg. we msged to each other once a while to catch up with stuff and that day, she invited me over.
-(raya) gifts from Senida-
wait the sec~ do i have to give gifts in return???.. am i missing something here??.. haha i asked her what was the occasion. she said, Eid is like christmas. hahah.. fiuh.. then i think back, owh yea, we give 'ampau' to kids.. so that is just how it works in Europe~ hehehe.. sounds good to me~~~
we played board games, Wii... so much fun at their place. feel like home. Senida lives with her parents and a little brother. her father is a coach and his brother is crazy about sports. so we get along PRETTY well i should say. we played till 11pm, then we called it a night
2nd day of Eid
Senida and her mom brought me out to shop.. heheh how can i ever say no to shopping, SERIOUSLY. i bought a lot of stuff there, slippers, a dress, scarfs, chocolates.. hehehe..
as we were browsing
-SLAP BUG!!!-
was 'this' close to approach them and give them a SMACK. hhahaha.. well, you know~ it is natural when you see some bugs, you chased (or smack) them away. hehehe.. actually, my first thought when i saw the bettle bug, it reminds me of my peeps back home; whenever we see bettle volkwagen, we HAVE to hit anyone who was present at that very second. so was tempted to hit Senida and her mother.. haha.. but naahh.. hehehe.. i just know them and they are very nice to me. after all day of shopping, Senida dropped me off to St Catherine's
late afternoon
at Lynda's and housemates
lynda, daria, suraya
at ka Fadhillah's and housemates
one week after Eid
at Alia Burhanudin's (there are alot of girls named 'Alia' here) -early batch-
-cornflakes!!!!-
when i went back to Brunei in December, i want MORE cornflakes!!!!
-later batch-
the remaining days (or weeks)
study week
..one day i was topping up my file then my mind asked me, "is your brain as full as your file?" i was like waaaiiiiitttt the sec!!!! errr errr.. i am not sure... so the remaining days i've been studying. wish me luck!!!

2/10/07
Field Trip
in the morning, a group of Public Health and Nutrition students went to Fonterra Dairy Products Manufacture. we had a tour around the place. this place is HUGE and EXPENSIVE. there is this one processing area cost 6 million. ONE AREA I TELL YOU. imagine if you bomb that place. hahaha.. unfortunately when we were touring around, the staffs were not around doing the work. pretty disappointed actually, because i was expecting to see the process of putting the ice-cream into the cone, coated it and so-on. or watch the milk flows into the boxes, etc. *sigh*
well, there was a lecture at the beginning of the visit. the representative talks about the procedures of making the products, the labelling - 'high in calcium', 'low in fat' - and how to get that labelling approved, cleaning processes, safety, etc.
in the end, we were indulged with free ice-creams and milk.
this one is not served though (how i wish~)
in the afternoon, i went out with Veronica. i chatted with him the night before. i begged her to bring me out. haha.. was kind off tired of studying. so, luckily Veron felt the same thing.. we met up at the city. on our way to Harbour Town. this caught my eyes.
who, in a right state of mind would buy this HORRIFYING WEDDING DRESS (on the right). when she walked down the aile (did i spell that right?), people would cry!!!, not because of joy but because of .... (lets not finish the sentence) haha.. who designed this dress!!! and the most important question WHO PUT IT ON THE DISPLAY WINDOW!! SO CONFIDENT!! Veron and i were laughing all the way to Harbour Town. owh yea, i had been neglecting Adidas shop. so today i went in. i bought one top and one long pants. i decided not to put them on display~ hehe.. the shops today closes at 5.30pm (i TOLD you Ron~~ hahhaa) so we decided to head back to the city to kill time till sunset. we went to Jaws, Japanese Restaurant for dinner (as for me it was 'penyunkaian'). i spent about $24 there. gosh Ron, we ate alot. but the thing was, Japanese food didn't give us the feeling of 'cannot-walk' kind of full. so it was good. then, we went to KFC, i need to buy something for sahur - meal before dawn.
finger lickin' good
3/10/07
the next day~ haha we decided to go shopping AGAIN. Ron complained to me that she didn't manage to shop much yesterday. i didn't mind at all~ so at 4pm we went to the city. we were rushing again because today, the shop closed at 5.30pm as well. *cough* we went to Harbour Town.. haha.. Ron~ who decided to go there again??? was it me or YOU???... HAHAHA.. err errr.. since we went there, and Ron was teasing me about topping up my Adidas clothings from yesterday, hehe... so yea.. i did. and~ i bought two more tops and another long pants. what can i say??? there were on sale 30%!!! we went out for dinner again but tonight we went to Insan, Indonesian Restaurant. there were menus available for us to choose but also there were cooked food ready to eat at the counter (like buffet). there were three two three options for the rice; small - wih one type of main dish, and veggie; Medium - with two types of main dish and veggies; Large- with three. i chose the Medium one.
i didn't expect it to overflow my plate!!! haha.. but i finished them all *oppss*
Dahriah, Veronica. we look so peacefull and patient but actually we were HUNGRY
4/4/07
I MSNed Veronica immediately after i reached home lastnight. i asked her, "do you want to go out tomorrow morning? you still need to buy some more 'baju' right?"..furthermore i told her that i would be available from morning till before 11am. hahaha Ron simply agreed. not just that, Ron was 'willing' to wake up early to maximise shopping time. the malls open at 9am and some opens at 8. so yes, Ron didn't mind me waking her up at 7am.. where the go Ron~ so PROUD of you... hahahaa. so Ron managed to buy i think four tops. me?? i just bought solutions for my contact lens, boxes of tissue and cokeZero.
at night, it was MULTICULTURAL NIGHT at UWA. i went there with Shelly. in this event of the year, variety of foods sold in each different stalls. mostly asians. but some were weird ones like 'fried coke'. fried ice-cream is acceptable, but FRIED COKE???.. AHHAA i didn't get the chance to try it though. the food sold tonight was expensive. one nasi lemak cost $6, 3 sticks of fish balls $5, cincau $2.50 (not even a full cup), 2 kebab stick $5. so as you can imagine, people could spent about $50 just for this one night.
at the entrance
as you can see, it was still bright outside eventhough it was all ready 6.30pm. it is getting closer and closer to summer now.
the crowd as it gets darker
also there were some performances
the stage
shelly, Dahriah
we were the in-front of the stage. YEA BABY~
some of the dance performances
(note: i am not really sure why there is a picture right after the same video. hmmm)
we missed the Lion Dance. i've recorded some people singing and other types of dances tonight but those files were too big. so i couldn't upload it.
so there you go~
thanks for reading my post

i phoned mum just now. hehe.. so nice. mum is busy making biscuits, not for Raya but for my brother, Dahari's wedding, in November. YES. my brother is getting married and i'm going to miss it :( i'm sad because i am pretty close with Dahari, we are the star in the family. we joke around alot, we make fools of ourselves, we just click in every conversation. gosh, i miss him very much. :'(
my mum told me that the house is crowded with invitation cards; papers and stickers flooded the floor. i went silent for abit when my mum mentioned that the house is not organised to the occasion yet. usually i take care of this issue. ok, i know i am a woman and my job is in the kitchen, but it is just how i was brought up; well not all of my sisters are like me, so happened that i was exposed to the technical stuff. i spent more time with my brothers than sisters when i was growing up. i always help arranging the sofas, tables, decorating, etc during festive seasons. my brothers inspired me more. i cleaned and tidied the house, and i am good at it. so, my mum felt some emptiness when it comes to special functions held at home. well, not that my mum doesn't miss me at all, she just miss me at the most during these times. wish i can freeze uni life just for two weeks and help around at home. gosh. i was trying not to be so emotional about my brother's wedding. but i couldn't help it after that phone call. i cried immediately after. hope all the preparation goes well bro~ love you.
