i just got back from Futsal and i just have to blog about it.
Inter Uni soccer for Muslim Girls was held at AIC (Australian Islamic College) Kewdale Campus Gymnasium. i had to take a bus to city, then a train. i arrived there around 11am.
to start off, some of us who arrived early warmed up with some kicking of the ball to each other. it was fun. around 12pm, the first match was on. it was UWA (my team) against CURTIN. the second match was between CURTIN and some other team (wasn't watching the match) and the last one is UWA against MURDOCH.
great defence from our team but we lost, though we didn't really keep track of the scores. hahaha.. the thing was, i had never enjoy playing futsal till today. this was by far the best team i've ever joined. i played soccer back home (well only for two weeks) but it this team was something else, it had team spirit, always support each other no matter what, and best of all, just have fun out there. our opponents sweared to each other, so competitive and bad aura spreading around the gym. each game last for 30minutes.
UWA TEAM

p/s i was wearing a bandana beneath my tudong, that is why i look funny
[haha i don't have to explain myself, do i?]
beautiful thing happened, i've met Senida and her mother. they are from Europe
we chatted after the match. Senida is actually working already and not a student of UWA. She just joined our team. how nice!! Senida is such a nice girl, we immediately clicked after we started to have a conversation. and her mum, gosh.. her mom is so sweet. both of them asked about my course. they were so supportive and understanding. Senida's father is a Soccer professionalist, knows alot of athletes and have good connections with them. so they know what sport is all about.
there was actually another match going on at 2.30pm. but i have to set my priority straight, i have to study for my busy week ahead. and luckily, Senida wanted to go home as well. she drove to the gym. so she offered to give me a lift. aren't they nice?? Senida was so polite when she asked me personal questions. they offered me to call them on any weekends to catch up with stuff and Senida told me to give her a call and have a drink whenever i go to the city on weekdays because she works there. i was so glad i went to this event. alhamdulillah.
will post about the what has being going on this week sometime soon, promise~
