i had an interview today.
this was what i wear. i didn't want to overdress because it is a "cook's assitant" position, not office work.
this is the place
(notice the blinking red light? "vacancy" hehe that is why i went there)

the interview went very well. Martin told me other positions available there like house keeping and room servicing. i told him that house keeping is actually the job that i am looking for. he was pleased to know because he was concern whether i can cope with the busy kitchen work or not since i have no experience at all on it. so Martin will inform me next week to comfirm whether i get the job or not and follow up any details.
oooooo... yesterday!!! on my way to switch buses at Busport, there was this man got stuck here!!! in the circled area!!!
a man, at his 50's was laying faced-down stucked at the end of the escalator, so happened that his long sleeves got pulled into the escalator (the escalator was going downwards). i didn't know how it happened but i was pretty sure he was bleeding. if i was not mistaken, something felt off his hands and tried to pick it up from the escalator stairs. a young guy passed by switched off the power and pulled the poor man out. i don't know what happen to that guy after that, i was catching a bus.
ok ok back to today's agenda. on my way home, something caught my eye.

out side the taxi there were stripes of red with blue background.

there were three pictures i tried to make sense out of; from the right, a man cycling, a kangaroo and the third one i couldn't figure it out. it is a picture of a lady blowing something with widespread legs! hehehee.. what is that picture trying to convey? suggestion anyone??
owh yea, remember when i told you that i had to take two buses to get to Rivervale? i realised that the second bus that took me to Rivervale has this unusual (well, it is for me) bell to indicate the driver where we want to stop
the bell is actually a long black stripe
the first bus that took me to the busport is this
most of these buses that go there are brand new, so their bells look like usual (ones circled in red) p/s click to actually see the bells.
noticed there is a small box circled in green. that is actually a card reader. we ride the bus with a card named "smart rider" we don't pay cash to get into the bus anymore. just buy the card and top it up whenever the balance is low. we just swipe the card when we get into the bus and swipe it off again when we get off
smart rider
lastly, i just had to introduce you people out there to this yummy bread. it is called 'tiger bread'... we usually get this during lunchtime. it is not a set lunch meal, it is a side meal that is always provided.
